Durand 🇫🇮

Durand likes to eat torches, and prefers them lit before consumption. Rumours tell that his other favourite snack is cookies of various kinds.

Bat-wise Durand's contributions include working on one of the "ultimate" eq-monsters in game, Tiamat, the Chromatic Dragon. His work has mainly involved system maintenance of BatMUD servers and other such administrative tasks. Sometimes he also fixes bugs and codes nice things like BatURL.

Mostly retired from active development/maintenance now, but can be often found idling in the dataroom (as of 2026).

He has served as chairman of the Balanced Alternative Techniques ry ("B.A.T. ry") board.
